How To Draw A Dog
Step 1 – Start by sketching the basic shape of the dog. Use a pencil to lightly draw an oval for the head, a circle for the body, and two ovals for the legs.
Step 2 – Draw two circles for the eyes and two small ovals for the nostrils.
Step 3 – Draw a curved line for the mouth and two curved lines for the ears.
Step 4 – Draw a curved line for the neck and two curved lines for the front legs.
Step 5 – Draw two curved lines for the back legs and a curved line for the tail.
Step 6 – Add details to the face such as fur, whiskers, and eyebrows.
Step 7 – Add details to the body such as fur, spots, and stripes.
Step 8 – Add details to the legs such as fur, claws, and paw pads.
Step 9 – Add details to the tail such as fur and stripes.
Step 10 – Erase any unnecessary lines or shapes that you drew in step 1.
Step 11 – Use a darker pencil to trace over your drawing to make it more defined.
Step 12 – Color in your drawing using colored pencils or markers.
Step 13 – Add shading to your drawing using a darker pencil or marker to give it more dimension and depth.
Step 14 – Add highlights to your drawing using a lighter pencil or marker to give it more texture and realism.
Step 15 – Sign your artwork with your name or initials!
