How To Draw A Bench
Step 1 – Prepare your supplies. To draw a bench, you will need a pencil, a ruler, an eraser, and a piece of paper.
Step 2 – Draw a rectangle that is twice as long as it is wide. This will be the seat of the bench.
Step 3 – Create the backrest of the bench by drawing a slightly curved line above the seat.
Step 4 – Draw two slightly curved lines at the ends of the seat. These will form the arms of the bench.
Step 5 – Draw a line connecting the arms and the backrest. This will form the top of the backrest.
Step 6 – Draw two lines extending from the top of the backrest to the arms. This will form the sides of the backrest.
Step 7 – Draw two lines extending from the arms to the seat. This will form the legs of the bench.
Step 8 – Draw two lines extending from the seat to the arms. This will form the support for the backrest.
Step 9 – Draw two lines extending from the seat to the legs. This will form the sides of the seat.
Step 10 – Draw two lines extending from the sides of the seat to the legs. This will form the support for the seat.
Step 11 – Draw a line extending from the top of the backrest to the arms. This will form the top of the arms.
Step 12 – Draw two lines extending from the top of the arms to the legs. This will form the sides of the arms.
Step 13 – Draw a line connecting the sides of the arms. This will form the top of the arms.
Step 14 – Draw two lines extending from the top of the arms to the seat. This will form the front of the arms.
Step 15 – Draw two lines extending from the front of the arms to the legs. This will form the sides of the arms.
Step 16 – Draw a line connecting the sides of the arms. This will form the bottom of the arms.
Step 17 – Draw two lines extending from the bottom of the arms to the legs. This will form the sides of the arms.
Step 18 – Erase any unnecessary lines and refine your drawing as needed.
Step 19 – Shade in the areas of the bench as desired.
Step 20 – Outline the bench with pencil to make it stand out and add any other details.
